I loved the training and have learned a lot from De Carla about teaching Black History to children. The trainer was very professional as usual and provided numerous resources. I can’t wait for the next book. I will implement a multicultural area for all children to have access to.

The Black History Training opened my eyes to how much of an influencer I can be to the children in my care by showing them how important our history is. It showed me new ways I can engage the children by allowing them to play a part in history all while still teaching. The training also taught me how to inspire the children to be whoever they want to be. Our trainer showed so much passion for what she does, she provided me with information I would not have been able to come up with on my own. Now with this training I have the resources needed to keep black History going in my program 365 days a year. I will implement the jingles daily to help the children remember for a lifetime.

I found the training on Black History to be absolutely awesome. De Carla Burton was very knowledgeable in this area. I would recommend this training to both educators and parents. The activities and books that were recommended I will be using in my program along with sharing this information with my parents. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me.
